Anxiety, fear, regret, panic, a sense of solidarity, caution, the need for help, warning, indifference, loneliness, isolation, helplessness, loss, sadness, reconciliation, anger, protest, calculation, manipulation, control, apathy, abuse of power, conspiracies, political calculations at the expense of human lives.

The heavy cocktail that the pandemic brought with it acquired an even more distinct intensity in the digital era.

As a result of covering faces with masks and respirators, the focus of communication shifted to the hands, which, within a symbolic approach, I portrayed as the branches of a large tree representing humanity.

The motif is realised in charcoal and graphite on canvas.
