Photography

Originally, my photographs were created as references for my paintings, but over time, they became an independent medium of expression.

My work primarily captures landscapes, plants, and people in natural settings—most notably women and girls who appear as fairies from the past.

I explored this theme of ‘fairies’ in my earlier series of paintings as well. They symbolise the archetype of a woman who loves and protects nature, representing authenticity, kindness, sensitivity, inner strength, and determination.

She is not passive; her frequent, direct gaze into the lens serves to emphasise her courage to act. She possesses an indefinable quality, as if she belongs to another world—a world where nature and all living beings are safe, and where the suffering that humanity inflicts upon itself through its own greed does not exist.
