The second painting from the Fairies in Town series depicts a fairy-tale character placed in a real-life setting.

In this series, I tried to point out the problem of environmental pollution. The main motif of the paintings are fairies with butterfly wings.

Contrary to their characteristic portrayal, I placed them in a cold, austere city. However, nature always finds a way. There are more and more green leaves in each subsequent painting, which is how I wanted to express hope for reversing the devastation of nature.

The picture is painted using the technique of layered oil painting on a canvas stretched on an internal wooden frame.
