Description
The third painting in the Fairies in Town series is inspired by a fairy-tale character placed in a real environment.
In this series, I have tried to point out the problem of environmental pollution. The central motif of the paintings are fairies with butterfly wings.
Contrary to their characteristic depiction, I placed them in a cold, austere city without greenery (typical for depicting a fairy).
However, nature always finds its way, and there are more and more green leaves in every next picture, which I wanted to express the hope for reversing the devastation of nature.
The picture was painted in oil colors on a 60 x 80 cm cotton canvas.
It is also available as a fine art print on high-quality canvas stretched on a wooden inner frame or heavyweight cotton paper.
